A loan of $1,150 helped to set up pens, purchase pigs and care for them.

María Nazaret's story

María Nazaret is an enterprising woman who some time ago had the dream of creating a corral for pigs where she could raise and fatten them. She and her husband are hardworking people, but wish in their free time to nurture their own business before all else. They have three children and want in the future to generate the necessary income to get them ahead and give them the opportunity to go to school. They also have a dream that this project would turn into a family business to be handed down from generation to generation.

Their business is just starting up and thus they need capital to set up the pens, buy the pigs and the necessary feed in order to have a prosperous future. Although they know their worst enemy is the winter, María wants to build a solid place that will provide security not only for her family but for her animals, and so improve their quality of life in its measure.
