A loan of $200 helped to buy fabric and thread at wholesale.

Percy's story

Percy, 18, lives with his parents in their own house. Since childhood his mother taught him the occupation which today is his source of work: he sews traditional costumes. Women in his area come to him for this type of service and also because of the detailed work he does and the degree of effort he puts into each article of clothing attaining the quality he wants in his items. This work is very flexible; he manages his own time so as not to neglect other important things he has to do, like studying.

He’s seen new places where he can sell his wares as part of the commercial markets that take place in his zone and acquire new customers who will sell his items at retail so he intends to better supply his workshop.

This is his first loan with MFP. He happily receives the amount of money because he already has plans on how to invest it. He is grateful for the trust placed in him and he will not disappoint and will be responsible with his payments.

He will use the requested loan to buy fabric and thread for his creations at wholesale.
