The women of the Djiguisseme group, either married or widowed, are on average 25 years old with 3 children, living in traditional extended families in the village of Nalla, sub-prefecture of Fana, Koulikoro region (second administrative region of the Republic of Mali. They met through connections with friends, family and neighbors.

The women trade in condiments and root vegetables and they also braid hair. They are on their first group loan, which will be used to buy condiments, root vegetables and small accessories for braids. Nana D., the group's president, plans to buy condiments from sellers in Falako as well as in Fana, to re-sell in her village, for cash and on credit, to customers who are both men and women. She expects to make an average monthly profit of 10,000 CFA francs which will be used to repay loan installments, pay contributions towards social ceremonies and the rest will be re-invested in her business.

Les femmes du groupe Djiguisseme, composé de mariées et de veuve, ont en moyenne 25 ans, 3 enfants et vivent toutes dans des familles traditionnelles élargies dans le village de Nalla, sous préfecture de Fana ; Région de Koulikoro (deuxième région administrative de la république du Mali). Elles se sont connues à travers des liens de parenté, de voisinage et d’amitié. Elles font le commerce de condiments, de tubercules et font la tresse.
Les femmes du groupe Djiguisseme sont à leur premier prêt solidaire qui sera utilisé pour acheter des condiments, des tubercules et des petits matériels pour la tresse.
La cliente NANA D., qui se trouve être la présidente du groupe, compte acheter des condiments avec les revendeurs de Falako et souvent à Fana, pour les revendre au niveau du village au comptant et à crédit, à une clientèle composée d’hommes et de femmes.
Elle envisage réaliser un bénéfice moyen mensuel de 10000 F CFA qui sera utilisé pour payer les échéances du prêt, payer les contributions des cérémonies sociales et le reste sera réinvesti dans son activité de commerce.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients. Kiva lenders’ funds will enable Soro Yiriwaso to expand its outreach and target even more underserved Malians involved in business and agriculture.
