Jose Santos's story

José is a 55 year old husband and father. He lives with his wife and children in their own home in the district of Cayaltí, located an hour from the district of Chiclayo. It's a district characterized by the inhabitant's agricultural and ranching work.

José has spent more than 10 years doing farm work with his children, who help with the lighter work in his fields and bean fields, a healthy and delicious food for the residents' daily consumption.

José has asked for a loan of 3000 nuevos soles from Edpyme Alternativa to buy for urea to improve his land and have a better bean crop. He also needs to pay his laborers who help harvest the beans.

In Cayaltí, José is known for treating his workers well, which has helped him in his farm work. He is responsible and hard working. All of of these inprovements are to have more income and be able to pay for his family's needs.
