Edwin's story

Edwin V. V. lives in Pilas de Pérez Zeledón. He has devoted his whole life to farming. Edwin has a small farm where he grows tubers. Specifically, he grows ginger and “ñampi” (a vegetable in the sweet potato family).

He needs a loan of 500,000 colones to buy the needed supplies to sow the tubers.

He hopes to take advantage of the season and increase his income for his family’s benefit. He is a member of the La Danta S.A communal credit company, which is one of the 110 organizations affiliated with EDESA in Costa Rica.
