Aminata's story

This is 36 year-old Aminata from Kissy in Sierra Leone. She is married with 3 children between the ages of 15 and 20. All of Aminata’s children attend school. They also take care of seven relatives.

Aminata runs a local produce (food stuff) store. She sells groundnut, rice, and palm oil. She has been running this business for 10 years. Aminata has requested a loan in order to purchase more local product. The extra income from this loan will allow her to rent a big store. In the future, she plans to be a supplier to other business partners.
