Rosa Dilia's story

Rosa, 55, was born in Estelí. She’s married and the mother of three children. She sells clothes. She started this business with help from one of her daughters and a loan she took out. She’s had the business for 12 months now. Her husband’s a farmer. She used to be a housewife but now sells clothes. The business is located in downtown Estelí where she sells her merchandise in a locale she leases. Her daughter helps her sell while Rosa cares for her grandson because, above all, she’s a mother and it’s for her family that she works so diligently.

She is asking for the loan to buy three large bundles of used clothes, outfits. With this investment she hopes to attract new customers, improve her sales and increase her profits. She wants to expand the business enlarging it with new types of products to sell. Her next goal is to improve her humble home’s infrastructure.
