A loan of $1,075 helped to supply her store with liquors and yogurt.

Juana's story

Juana is 34 years old and she lives with her husband and their three children in a house that they own. More than tow years ago she decided to start an independent business in order to generate her own income. At the start she provided photography and film services but later she saw the opportunity to sell liquors and yogurt, which turned out to be very successful. Since then she has been selling these products on the street and she has good sales. She works every day in order to accumulate more earnings. Her objective is to have a store from where to sell. Her plans are to improve her business in the following months and establish herself. She will keep putting her best efforts every day to improve her sales. This is her fourth with MFP (Kiva Field Partner) and she says that having accessed a loan has been a positive experience that has given her the opportunity to improve her business and to learn. She is very thankful for the opportunities that this loan has granted her and she is committed to be punctual with her payments. With the loan that she requests she plans on using it to increase her working capital and to increase her merchandise.
