Prossy's story

Prossy N. lives in the Kisaasi neighborhood in the city of Kampala, Uganda. She is single and has three children, all of whom are in school. She has a business of selling products to restaurants. She has been in this business for one year, and she works seven days out of every week. Prosy sells her products in a market, by means of retail. She has requested a loan of 200,000 UGX from MCDT SACCO, which she will use to buy more food items.

The main business challenges for Prossy include thieves and transportation. Her goals and aspirations are to expand her business. She lives in a home that she rents where she has no access to electricity or piped water. Her major monthly expenses include school fees, and rent.
