A loan of $375 helped to buy more groceries for his store.

Roland's story

Roland is 38 years old and lives in a house he owns with his mother, sister, niece and 9-year-old daughter.

He opened a store in his house 12 years ago, where he sells bread products. He gets up early every day to tend to his business and every two weeks, he goes early to buy his merchandise depending on the quantity of products he has. His mother and sister help him tend to the business when he goes to work as a teacher. He likes having earnings aside from his salary as a teacher and it helps him to address the various needs of his household. Roland plans to continue working in this business and acquire more merchandise for his store.

This is his 25th loan with MFP and he is happy with his long history with the communal bank. He values each of his fellow group members as true friends and will continue to be very active and punctual in his payments.

He will invest the loan in the purchase of more groceries for his store.
