A loan of $725 helped to purchase more products to better stock her grocery store.

Teresa's story

Teresa is 60 years old. She is a very friendly and hard-working woman. She lives in her own house with her 62 year old husband, Carlos, and her dear 27 year old son, Erick, to whom she would like to offer a better quality of life. When Teresa opened her grocery store seven years ago, she had a lot of faith that it would turn out well. For this reason, she decided to work hard, without rest, in order to reach her goals. She opens her store at 5:30 am every morning and gives her customers very friendly service.

What she likes most about her work is making sales. She is a very good saleswoman. Her customers are always very happy when they leave her store. What she likes least about her work is having to stay in the store all day. She does not have the opportunity to leave in order to run errands. In the future, she hopes to improve and expand her store in order to pay better attention to her customers. She is conscious of the fact that the path to her goals is long and hard but she is ready to work very hard to achieve her goals. This is her eighth loan with MFP. She plans to be punctual with her payments. She does not want to cause any problems for the other members of her communal bank. With the two thousand nuevos soles requested, she will buy more products in order to better stock her grocery store.
