Terezia's story

Terezia is a married woman with three children, one attends school while the other two are employed. They live at their own house that neither has electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food, school fees and clothing.

For the past 20 years, she has operated a clothes selling business, selling at the market to her neighbors and passersby. In addition she also sells shoes which contributes to her other source of income. Terezia faces a major challenge of competition from other shoes operators and high cost of transportation in her business. She dreams of expanding her business in the future.
