Evelyn N. is 27 years old and lives in the town of Mukono in the Mukono region of Uganda. She is single and has two children. One of her children is currently in school. Evelyn has had a small gift shop for four years.
To help expand her business, Evelyn has requested a loan of 2,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to purchase more gifts for resale. With the help of the loan from BRAC, Evelyn hopes to generate greater profits and pay school fees for her children. In the future, Evelyn hopes to expand her business.
