A loan of $375 helped to purchase livestock and balanced animal feed.

Maria Digna's story

Maria is a 31-year-old mother of a family. She is married and lives with her children in the district of Mochumí -- an agricultural area with substantial commercial traffic located more than half an hour away from the city of Chiclayo.

Maria makes her living by raising and commercializing sheep and goat livestock that she grows in a yard near her home. She feeds the animals natural grass and grains, and when they reach a good level of development, she offers them for sale to merchants who frequently visit the area where she lives. She has been in this business for nine years, which is why she knows this line of work to perfection.

Maria would like to purchase additional livestock and balanced animal feed to expand her business and to obtain a higher level of income. For this reason, she has decided to ask Edpyme Alternativa for a loan of 1000 soles which will help her achieve her goal.
