Sop Nabi Group's story

The Sop Nabi "Banc Villageois" solidarity group in Artillerie Baax Yaay was born on August 27, 2009. The 12 members are women who are related, neighbors or friends and they all have small business. Madam Boury N., 41 year-old, is the leader of the group. She is a married mother in charge of 5 children. She stands on the far right in the picture, wearing green and an orange loincloth. She is in the catering business and has a 3 years experience in this field. She sells the products in Louga's main market. With the loan, she hopes buying rice, oil, onions and all the needed spices to prepare lunch and breakfast. She participates to the family's expenditures to help her husband and take care of her children's schooling.
