Flor De Maria's story

Flor De María is a member of the 'Las Dalilas' community bank which is located in Yarinacocha district, in Ucayali department. She is 33 years old, married, and has two children still in her care.

Flor has been selling drinks for five years. She has been working with Movimiento Manuela Ramos for the same amount of time. Her business is helping her to achieve things that were impossible in the past such as being able to buy some comforts for her home.

Flor will use her new loan for 2,500 Peruvian soles to buy 15 crates of beer, 10 crates of soda, 3 packets of still water and 3 packets of fizzy water.

Flor's husband helps her to serve in her business in the evenings because during the day he works driving a car, making money which is also welcome in their household.

Through their work, Flor and her husband have been able to buy some things that they were lacking before and which were really necessary for their home.
