A loan of $1,250 helped a member to equip her small cart from which she sells breakfasts.

Siempre Adelante Group's story

Clelia is 41 years old, married, and has five children. She is a member of the 'Siempre Adelante' (Always Moving Forwards) community bank.

Cielia works preparing and selling breakfasts to go. She sells a drink containing maca (a native plant), sweetened apple water and soy milk, and combines these drinks with sandwiches such as bread with cheese, olives, avocado, etc.

Cielia has been in this business for 12 years and her sales location is outside the Universidad del Centro. She has a large number of customers as she offers cheap breakfasts that are affordable to the students.

Cielia is requesting a loan to equip her small cart from which she sells her breakfasts.

In the photograph, Cielia is in one of the small photos. She is the second one from the left, wearing a pink top and a blue sweater. She wasn't present when the meeting took place because she had to take her son to the hospital.

The member in the small photo on the far right is Magdalena U. C. who couldn't attend for work reasons (she didn't have anybody to mind her store).

The member in the small photo on the far left is Maria R. B. who couldn't attend because she had work which she needed to deliver (she types documents for people).

In this group: Clelia, Lucia , Magdalena, Maria Isabel, Pilar Veronica, Nataly, Marilu Ivalgina
