Irshaad is 38 years old and the mother of seven children. All of them are enrolled in a local school and getting their education. Irshaad takes care of them very well and tries to give them comfort by fulfilling their needs.

She is married to F. M. who operates a sweetmeat-selling business. His shop is located in the market and he offers good quality and a variety of sweetmeats to his customers. Irshaad also helps him by preparing sweetmeats for his shop. She has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for her husband’s business. Through the loan, her husband will buy required items such as sugar, milk, dried fruits and cooking oil, etc. to prepare a larger quantity of sweetmeat and sell them at a better profit.
