Buumayram's story

Buumayram M. is 48, widowed and has six children. Her two elder children live on their own and the others live with her and attend school. As Buumayram is the only breadwinner for her children, she works hard in her livestock-breeding business. Her farm has 2 milk cows and 13 sheep. She also cultivates potatoes and corn. Buumayram has applied for a loan of 60,000 KGS to purchase a milk cow and 10 sheep. With the revenues, she plans to further increase her business, which will allow her to pay for a good education for her children.
