Dul's story

Dul N., 42, resides in Takeo province, Cambodia, an area known as one of Pre-Angkorean Temples. N. sells bananas, earning an income of USD 10 per day. Her husband is a farmer, earning an income of USD 1 per day. Each month, the family has to spend USD 35 on food and USD 60 on other necessary expenses.

N. is requesting a loan of USD 1000 to purchase a tuk-tuk (three-wheeled motorized rickshaw) for one of her children to start a new business as a tuk-tuk driver. This will be her first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner.
