Jacqueline's story

Jacqueline B. is from the city of P-4, Canubay, Oroquieta City. She is 26 years old. Jacqueline is married and has two school-aged children. To make a living, Jacqueline owns and operates a fishing business. Jacqueline has been engaged in her business for more than seven years and earns approximately 8,000 PHP a month for these activities.

In 2011, Jacqueline joined GDMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Jacqueline is requesting a new loan of 12,000 PHP, which will be used to repair existing engine purchase additional fishing net. This loan will be the first loan taken out by Jacqueline from GDMPC. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to make improvements to her house.
