A loan of $550 helped to acquire more animals and balanced animal feed.

Bertina's story

Bertina is a 25 year-old mother who lives together with her family in the small village of Luchadores, in the agricultural district of Tambogrande, in Piura region, more than four hours from the city of Chiclayo, capital of Lambayeque region.

Bertina raises and sells sheep. She raises them in a pen which is located behind her home and, when they have reached a good level of development, she offers them for sale to the traders who frequently visit her area. She has been in this business for more than four years and so has a loyal customer base.

Besea would like to acquire more animals and balanced animal feed so that she can expand her business and make more income. For this reason, she has requested a loan for 1,500 Peruvian soles from Edpyme Alternativa to help her achieve her goal.
