A loan of $550 helped to improve her carport's infrastructure as well as to invest in meat sales.

Nora's story

Nora, 42, lives with her husband and four children in a house her husband passed on to her. For over three years she’s been providing carport leasing services on a piece of property owned by her husband. She runs the business charging her customers for storing their vehicles; she charges according to the amount of space taken up in the carport. This work is very time consuming because she has to guard the vehicles. Her husband is her greatest support in the business and sometimes they take over for each other. Thanks to the service they provide the number of customers who frequent their carport has increased currently. In addition to this work they also sell lamb meat because she feels this is a profitable business that makes it possible for her to provide her family with better wellbeing. Her greatest wish is to improve the conditions of her carport to provide a better service.

This is the first time she’s had a loan with MFP. She feels very happy to have accessed this loan and promises to be punctual with her payments. She will use the loan she’ll get to improve her carport’s infrastructure and part of it will be used in the lamb meat business.
