A loan of $575 helped to buy merchandise to stock his business.

Danilo Esteban's story

Danilo is a determined young man who decided to set up his own business one year ago after having lived through a family tragedy in the mine where he and his father both worked. He promised himself that he would not go back to the mine after having seen his father die there. Danilo is an entrepreneur and he dreams of owning a store which will become well known by many people in the town where he lives, in Antioquia department. He dreams of turning his business into a legacy that he will leave to his family to be handed down generation to generation.

Danilo works five days a week with a lot of determination. He likes to serve his customers well and to constantly have his business stocked so that his customers can always find what they need. Danilo would currently like to expand his small business and would like to invest capital which will allow him to buy more merchandise. However, he doesn't have enough capital to achieve his goals. In this way, he would like to broaden the reach of his store, attract more customers, increase his sales and make more profits.
