A loan of $1,125 helped to buy groceries and seeds to sell.

Marisol's story

Marisol is from the town of Ocampo. Her business is selling seeds and sweet treats from premises located in her home. She also has game machines. She has been in this business for approximately six years and started her business in order to help her husband cover their household expenses. Although she has suffered serious problems, such as the death of her baby, she is very persevering in her work. She says that it was her parents who taught her to work hard since they are salespeople and it is from them that she got her desire to get ahead in life.

Marisol is requesting a loan to buy groceries since she would like to start a grocery business. She would like to buy soap, soups, toilet paper, seeds to toast and sell, sweet treats, soft drinks, etc. She says that she used to own a grocery store but after her baby died she became depressed and couldn't continue in her business. She is very grateful that she is being given this loan because it means she will be able to stock her store again and make a new source of income so that she can help her husband with their household expenses.

Marisol is married to José who is a private employee and right now she is very happy because she has a 3 month-old baby. One of her dreams is to get ahead in life and provide her young daughter with the best.
