A loan of $350 helped in the sale of kitchen supplies and beauty supplies.

Eduwiges's story

Eduwiges sells plastic kitchen supplies such as jugs, cups and bowls by catalog. She also sells some beauty products such as makeup. She has been in this business for 20 years to help with her family's expenses. She offers her products to the surrounding villages to her community. She stocks her products in the town of Hidalgo at an authorized distributor so that she can get a good price and be able to sell at a lower price than her competitors. She is thankful for this loan because, thanks to this loan, she will be able to stock products and thus her clients will buy more quickly. One of the obstacles to the growth of her business is that she has to help her daughter take care of her children since her daughter is a single mother and has to go out to work. This takes away some of Eduwiges' time to see more clients. She is married to Juan Jose who is a laborer. They had three children but only one of them, Omar who is in high school, depends on them.
