Sobia's Group's story

Sobia has applied for a loan from Kiva's partner, Asasah, for her husband who is a milk seller and wants to buy another buffalo to expand his dairy business further. The loan will help him increase the production of milk and sell to more customers.

Sobia is a talented lady involved in making pranday (an ornament used to tie back hair). She sells her product to different cosmetics shops in the market and generates income for the family. She is an active young lady who performs her household activities very well. She is the mother of two daughters. Both of them are very young and have not started school yet.

Sobia is hopeful that an investment will be a profitable one for her husband, and he will be able to take his business to a more profitable position.

Sobia is a resident of Pakpattan which is a small city in Pakistan known for its agriculture. She has been living with her family in the area of Bari Rakh in a two-room brick house for the past 15 years.
