The name says it all… “Que Rico!”

Flor has always been a wiz in the kitchen. When her husband lost his job she decided it was time to take her Puerto Rican culinary skills to the streets with her own food cart. She splits her time between the food cart and her office job, with her husband filling in on days she is in the office. They are both convinced of their ability to turn this food cart into a thriving business after their success on Miami’s Carnival de Calle 8.

With her loan from ACCION USA, Flor will be buying flyers to help promote her food cart. She will also be buying more inventory so that the cart can operate for longer periods during the day.

This is just the beginning of “Que Rico”! Flor ultimately wants to be able to purchase a food truck. And, like she says, once people try her food they think better access to her Puerto Rican food is a great idea!
