Crimildo Agostinho's story

Crimildo Agostinho S. was born in the city of Matola, Maputo Province in southern Mozambique. He is married and has a two-year-old daughter who does not yet attend school. Crimildo finished fourth grade but did not continue because of life's difficulties. He lives in his own house with his family and also supports his nieces, who live with him.

He has never left his hometown, and for more than four years he has had his own business selling assorted used clothing and shoes. He has no employees and has a monthly income of 4,000 meticais, which he uses for household expenses. He is also able to save some money in his bank account.

Crimildo has never had loans from other banks, and he learned about Hluvuku through a friend who is a customer of this institution. This is his first Hluvuku loan, and he is asking for 10,000 meticais to buy bundles of used clothing so he can increase the amount of merchandise he has.

He promises to make his payments on time so he can take out other loans in the future. He intends to ask for more loans to expand his business and finish his house.
