Matilde's story

MatilD. B. is 48 years old and married to 55 year-old Juan R.. They have two children who are in high school.

MatilD. owns a grocery store and has been in this business for more than nine years. She started her business in around 2002. In order to have the necessary capital to set up her business, she had to sell her car. In this way, she was able to set up a small grocery store which, over time, she has expanded.

MatilD. currently has a grocery store, snack bar and a photocopier. Her business is strategically located near the wholesale food market which means that she gets a lot of customers and more income.

MatilD. will use this loan to buy more merchandise (soda, yerba, wine, milk, brandy, sugar, etc.) and will improve the range of products she sells.
