Fabiola Alexandra's story

Fabiola T. is a member of the “La Paz” (Peace) Communal Bank. She lives in the Girón canton. This canton is known for its valleys, its tourist locations, its people who are devoted to commerce, raising animals, and farming. They are very kind people with a great deal of charisma.

Fabiola, age 34, is in a common-law-marriage. She has two children, ages 18 and 13. Her first child works for his personal expenses. Her second child attends school. Her husband works in his own shop where he makes sportswear. She does not have her own house; they rent where they live.

Fabiola is from the Ríos province, and she came to the city six years ago. She has been working in a poultry store for two years. She works from Sunday to Sunday from seven in the morning until seven at night.

This is her third loan in the communal bank. She will use it to buy clothes like blouses, t-shirts, and pants, etc. in order to start this business.

Her goal is to finish her house, which she is building in Babahoyo.
