Ek S., 55, is married and resides in Battambong province, Cambodia, an area known for high quality rice. S. sells vegetables and fish, earning an income of about USD 8 per day. Her husband is a construction worker, earning an income of USD 3 per day.
Each month, the family has to spend USD 80 on food and USD 54 on other necessary expenses. S. is requesting a loan of USD 1200 to purchase fruit for one of the children to resell. This will be her second loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner.
