Mr. Heang Village Bank Group's story

This village bank loan consists of fifteen people. Each member’s portion of the loan will be used for different purposes in order to improve their own family's standard of living. Mr. Heang is the village bank president who has been selected by the members. He was born in 1965. He is a farmer who owns a small piece of land where he grows rice to support his own family and he is a village chief. His wife is a pig breeder and a weaver. Since his wife’s business is going well, he wants it to expand. So, Mr. Heang is seeking a loan to buy more silk. He is the father of two children. They are studying at the local public school.
