A loan of $475 helped to buy basic grains, sodas and canned products to offer more to her customers.

Gloria Maria's story

Gloria has her own grocery store which she has been running for several years and achieved a good customer base and wide range of products thanks to several Afodenic loans she has received.

The loans have been very helpful in allowing her to offer all sorts of products, including medicine and cosmetics.

Her income is used to pay off the loan and to give credit to responsible customers. She also has to make payment on commitments she has with a family of four children. Her husband sells cheese, sour cream, cottage cheese and cream which help Nicaraguan families put more nutritious food on their tables.

She plans to use the loan to buy basic grains, personal care products, sodas and canned goods for customer satisfaction.
