A loan of $725 helped to buy balanced feed.

María Jesus's story

Maria is a 38-year-old mother who lives, together with her husband and their 4 children, in the village of Quemazón in the district of Mórrope. It is an agricultural district that is located in the province of Lambayeque, more than an hour from the city of Chiclayo. Maria raises and sells animals, an activity that she has been doing for 15 years. For that reason, she knows this line of work very well. She raises young animals, especially beef cattle and chickens, in an environment in the back part of her home. She feeds them grains and natural grasses, and when they have reached a good level of development she offers them for sale to the business men that frequently visit the area where she lives. Maria wants to get balanced feed for her animals and thereby increase her business, allowing her to get greater income. She also wants to buy some corrugated roofing to make some improvements to her home. For this reason, she has asked Edpyme Alternativa for a loan of 2000 nuevos soles which will help her achieve her goal.
