A loan helped to buy ingredients and disposable plates for the foods she cooks.

Alejandra's story

Alejandra is a young woman from the city of Medellín who decided to create a new food business. From the time she was very young she helped her mother with the care of her siblings, making them food and little by little she learned to cook wonderful food. Aware of her skill, she decided to sell the foods that she prepares and they have had great success among her customers. She is a single mother and she works from Sunday to Sunday in order to provide for her son.

Alejandra knows that the best work days are weekends and she has also had contracts to cook for parties and events. Since she must constantly buy ingredients for making her food, and the disposable plates to distribute it, she needs capital to stock her business. Since she is just getting started, she has requested a loan to buy enough ingredients to last for at least a month and a half, while she stabilizes herself economically.
