Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

This group is from the city of Hohenau-Encarnacion, and got together after making contact with one of the women from the Fundacion. This is an excellent group that is in its 18th loan cycle and has worked with the Fundación Paraguaya since 2006.

One of the members of the group is Maria R.. She has 4 children and her husband is a truck driver. She has a well-stocked neighborhood store where she works with all of her children. Thanks to this her store is very well-known in the area.

Maria tells us that the loan that she requests will be used to purchase merchandise to better stock her store; in this way she can improve her family's income.

All of the members of the group also have productive and commercial activities, and for this reason they need the support of the Kiva investors.

In this group: Celia, Alicia, Sofia, Victoria, Olinda, Mariela, Hilda, Joaquina, Luciana, Maria, Saturnina, Norma, Sandra, Estela, Ramona*
