Diamaguene Group's story

Solidarity group Diamaguéne is part of the Banc Villageois Mamadou Lamine Guéye. It was established on August 27, 2009, and is composed of 11 women who come from the same neighborhood. Their main business is retail.

Madame Aïssatou Bâ is the group leaD.. She's on the right in the picture, with her hands crossed. She's married and has one child to support. She retails various kind of fabric : thioub, wax, and khartoum. In parallel, she also sells smoked fish.

She wishes to use her new loan to bolster her business and increase her income. Her profits enable her to renovate her house.
