A loan of $1,500 helped a member to purchase livestock.

Jazira's Group's story

Jazira B. is the leader of this group. She is 30 and married to a private entrepreneur. She has a daughter and a son, both of whom are preschool age (under seven). In order to earn additional money to meet her family’s needs, Jazira started breeding livestock eight years ago with an initial investment of 4000 soms. By reselling her livestock after fattening them, she earns an additional 10,000 soms per month. She has requested this loan because she needs money to purchase more livestock for further reselling. In the near future Jazira wants to increase her business’ revenue, and then in the autumn she plans to purchase a truck.
