Sop Sergne Fallou Group's story

The solidarity group Sop Sergne Falloe was born on August 27, 2009 on the day of the inauguration of the Montagne Nord3 Banc Villageois, which hosts it. It is made up of 14 women who all live in the same neighborhood. Their businesses are varied: they truck farm, raise animals run small shops, etc. Mrs. Penda N. (standing in the back to the right of the group in the photo) is the leader of the group. She is 36 years old. She is divorced with one child in her care. She grows a micro-garden and raises sheep. As a parallel business, she runs a small shoe shop. With her new loan she will buy the factors of production for her micro-garden, a sheep, and some pairs of shoes to re-sell. Her objective is to assure that she can care for her son's education. She is also responsible for providing the family's food.
