A loan of $400 helped to buy more of the ingredients she needs to make fufu.

Aba's story

Aba E. runs a food stand in the town of Mfuom, which is located near the larger city of Abura. She has been running this business for the last three years and in this photograph we see her preparing fufu, which is a Ghanaian staple made from cassava. She is married, has three children, and works hard to help her husband support her household and pay their children's school fees. She will use this loan to expand her business by buying more of the ingredients she needs to make fufu.
