A loan of $1,200 helped to buy oil, sugar, beans, rice, pasta and condiments.

Maria De Jesus's story

María lives in Concepción Batres in the department of Usulután. She lives in her own house with her husband, her 16 year-old daughter, and a 6 year-old niece. She is a shopkeeper of daily use products, and she has been making a living in this business for around 15 years, which she took over from her mother.

She is asking for a loan to buy merchandise such as: oil, sugar, beans, rice, pastas and condiments. This investment will help her to strengthen her business.

Her aspirations are to better the life conditions of her family and to give her daughter all that is necessary to grow up healthy.
