A loan of $2,950 helped a member increase his inventory of phone accessories.


Winner Plus Group's story

Auguy is the chairman of a Community Bank named “Winner Plus” which is composed of 12 members. These entrepreneurs are united in solidarity to receive Kiva loans with the goal of developing their businesses.

Auguy is 39 years old and single. He became a micro-entrepreneur in 2005. He runs a cellphone booth and has a money changer business in the southwest of Kinshasa. He works hard to gain good management skills in order to realize his dream of one day opening a large store in his area. His business brings in $105 per week.

Auguy is a trustworthy client of the MFI HOPE RDC, having received and successfully repaid four previous loans. With this new loan, he will increase his stock of merchandise by purchasing phone accessories to resell at a profit. Auguy is very happy to be part of Hope’s groups because it will help him achieve his dreams.
