Mulya Sari Group's story

Mulya Sari Group is a group of women who are located in rural areas and consists of 12 members. Ni Ketut I. W., trusted by the members, became chairman of the group.

Ni Ketut I. W. has been raising pigs since she married 15 years ago because the business can help the family income. Ni Ketut I. W. had four children who are still enrolled in school. Her husband worked as a brick maker, but because his business went bankrupt, her husband finally migrated to Sulawesi, to look for a new source of revenue. Ni Ketut I. W. proposes to venture into capital loans to buy piglets and feed. This loan will be used to purchase two piglets at Rp. 350,000 per pig and the rest will be used to buy feed. The profits will be used to pay her children's school fees.
