Norabel P. is from the village of Kimanait, Pangantucan, Bukidnon. She is 40 years old. Norabel is married and has 4 school-aged children. To make a living, Norabel owns & operates a business, selling snacks & other delicacies like halo-halo, rice & cassava cakes in the local community. Norabel has been engaged in her business for over 4 years and earns approximately 8000 PHP a month for these activities.
In 2007, Norabel joined HSPFI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and her ability to engage in business activities. She has successfully repaid a previous loan of 8000 PHP from HSPFI. This previous loan was used to purchase additional ingredients & working capital. Norabel is requesting a new loan of 8000 PHP which will be used to purchase raw ingredients needed like milk, sugar & food flavorings. This will be the 7th loan taken out by Norabel from HSPFI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve and expand her business.
