Aurea's story

Aurea is 41 years old and married with six children. She works hard to provide for her family. She runs a sari-sari (variety) store in the Philippines and requested a PHP 15,000 loan through NWTF to buy additional items to sell like sardines, groceries, etc. in her sari-sari store. Aurea has borrowed and repaid 13 loans from NWTF before this loan. She has been running the sari-sari store for two years and also earns an income from piggery and rice retailing. Aurea aspires to build and expand her business and send her children to college.
