A loan of $3,900 helped a member to buy more groceries.

Dulce Esperanza Group's story

The “Dulce Esperanza” (Sweet Hope) committee was formed when several neighbors from the city of Mariano Roque Alonso joined together. All the committee members carry out independent activities like: sales, fast food preparation, dressmaking, etc. The members formed a very united group that’s able to carry out activities together that strengthen their companionship. Mrs. María Centurión is one of the members. She sells foodstuffs to support her nieces and nephews who were left motherless (orphans) at a very young age. She is a very hard working young woman. She does not have any children of her own and her husband’s an Electrician. She is very satisfied with her activity and with the training the group gets. María is asking for the loan to buy a greater variety and amount of groceries.
