Sudamerica Group's story

The women in this committee are from Tuyucua in the city of Caacupé. The group President is Mrs. Nancy V.. She is a ñanduti craftswoman (“ñanduti=spider web; typical Paraguayan lace). She lives with her husband, who is employed, and her two student children.

Nancy is a very responsible, dedicated woman. She works every day with one of her daughters who helps her make the ñanduti lace which she has to deliver weekly. Nancy works directly with a person who buys her lace and then sells it in the city of Itagua. Like all her fellow members, she is happy for the support Fundación Paraguaya and Kiva provides to continue investing in their small businesses.

In this group: Nancy, Irma, Diana, Maria, Marta, Margarita, Migdonia, Marta, Maria*, Dionicia*
