Susy is 38 years old. She is a single mother and has three school-age children. She has been selling meals since 2007. Before that, she used to help her mother and it was her mother who motivated her to start a food business and make more income which would allow her to cover her family expenses. She earns 100 Peruvian soles.

The challenge that Susy faces is that she lives in a rental home with her children. She pays rent and this means less money for her family. Her dream for the future is to grow her business and acquire premises so that she can set up a restaurant and also buy a house so that she can make her children more comfortable.

Susy will invest her loan money in buying tables and utensils, spoons, forks, kitchenware, pans and other items so that she can provide a better service to her customers. Susy is very grateful for the support that she is being given.
