A loan of $2,600 helped a member to buy work utensils such as liter-size jars and containers.

Costa San Antonio Group's story

This group was set up by Mrs. Asteria I. and Mrs. Manuela L., who went to the Paraguaya Foundation Office to find out about the Women Entrepreneurs' Group Program.

The members are very enthusiastic and dedicated; and they take their responsibilities very seriously and with much effort.

Mrs. Asteria sells milk which she gets from her dairy cattle. When she does not have milk to sell or cannot meet demand she buys from a nearby dairy farm at good prices so she can earn a profit.

All of the women in the group are hard workers and struggle to get ahead. They are requesting this loan to invest in their respective businesses, such as Mrs. Asteria's case. She plans to buy work utensils such as liter-size jars and containers.

In this group: Asteria , Manuela , Jovina , Eduvigis , Celestina , Norberta , Lilian , Digna , Gregoria , Digtiana , Nancy , Celia , Antoliana , Blanca , Lorena , Librada , Maxima , Fidelina *
